Collect wonderful bits of handmade art and QUOTES. All postcards are to be handmade or an altered purchased card and must contain a QUOTE somewhere on the card. Art and holiday quotes encouraged when applicable. This is a monthly swap for 3 cards. Place a stamp on each postcard and please send one extra postcard for AMP to be used in AMP's gallery of art on Flickr. These will be sorted and mailed to the participants on the 1st. Mailing deadlines must be met for this swap to be successful.

RED HOT CUPPA Collaborative Shaped Book

Whether your drink of choice is coffee-latte-tea-mate-chai-cocoa-spiced cider, let's share a red hot cuppa in a cup shaped book! This swap is about sharing some quips, quotes, sayings, lingo, slang - you get the idea; just about anything you might talk about over a cup of your favorite beverage with a friend. Your page can be painted, waxed, dyed, fabric, a drawing - anything you want as long as it includes words on the page. Each artist will make 10 original pages per set, artists can sign up for more sets if they would like to. The pages will be assembled into a small shaped book. Specific instructions, a template, and guidelines will be proved to each artist by email.

DOUBLE HAPPINESS Collaborative Shaped Book

If you enjoy Asian influenced swaps this is the one for you. We will be assembling a shaped collaborative book. Think of quotes that inspire, trips to a distant land, colors, people, refer to doses of unconventional wisdom that seem comical when translated into English and of course Asian inspired foods. Artists will create pages from the hearty rice bowl template; front and back of page must be artistically finished. Anything goes as long as you keep the name of the book in mind and have a strong Asian influence in your art. Artists must use sturdy cardstock, 140 lb watercolor paper would be ideal so that each page in the book starts with the same integrity of strength. Artists will be making 11 pages. You will receive 10 pages compiled into a book in return unless you would like to sign up for more than one set of ten pages they may do so. Each artist will receive the template for the sheets along with some basic rules and instructions as soon as they sign up for the swap. The extra page made by each artist will go into a book of all of the artists' pages which will be auctioned off at a later date and proceeds from this auction will be sent to a charity. Autumn Moon Paper would love to see this book professionally published and will work in every possible way to market this book to a publisher. With this in mind each artist must make their pages very carefully and neatly, names and contact information will not be on each page but listed in a separate biblio page added to each book. All pages must be originals. If you are interested in this swap please send us an email and we will glady send the list of guidelines, rules, and instructions so that artists will create and receive the highest quality books. Each artist will receive the template for this book once they have signed up and guaranteed their spot in this swap. Cost of swap $10 which includes postage for mailing completed books. Books will be assembled and returned as quickly as possible after all are received. International artists welcome, postage rates may vary.
